Lilliputian

In honor of the massive scale presented by the below-mentioned Kobe Works shipbuilding operation, I'd like to offer this photo-review of Japanese miniatures: mini-mermaid (found on mini-train exhibit in Kawasaki Good Times World); mini-castle; mini fake-food; and mini bullet train.

Miniatures are good metaphors for Japan cool pictures. Bet you wish you had a mini crash last week!

Awesome little castle! The miniature food is great also and appropriate that its made of plastic, like most of the other food you see on display there.

What's up with these little photos? Theyre cool. Did you have a special lens?

Hi, David. No special lens; it just took someone explaining the "macro" function on my camera. Genius.

Steven K.--the crash I had was pretty mini as it was, but I'd for sure have opted for something even smaller ... like maybe just a close call.

Thanks for comments!

It's nice that you put that coin in that last picture for scale.
